Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring a full-time Grill Cook at McLeod Seacoast in Little River, SC. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with weekends included. Previous grill cooking experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.

You will prepare food at the grill station, serve customers, and follow safety and portion guidelines while maintaining a clean workspace. Benefits are available for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Grill cooking experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare dining environment.
• Must follow food safety standards and maintain sanitary conditions.

Responsibilities

• Takes orders from customer and prepares items requiring short preparation.
• Serves customers in an efficient, friendly manner following established steps of service.
• Uses established ticket-collection procedures during service and records from the area worked.
• Uses approved recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality and portion control.
• Cleans, sanitizes and maintains all assigned work areas, equipment and utensils to ensure sanitation standards are met.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
