Job summary

HES Facilities Management is seeking a General Cleaner in Las Vegas to maintain the cleanliness of assigned areas from 8:30am to 5:00pm. You will perform a variety of cleaning duties to keep classrooms, hallways, restrooms and common areas spotless.

The role requires a team-focused mindset, physical stamina for a fast-paced environment, and reliable transportation. A background check is required and a high school diploma is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Team-focused approach requiring ability to work with others and take direction.
• Physically demanding fast-paced environment requiring ability to work efficiently with attention to detail.
• Background check required.
• Education: High school degree preferred, but not required.
• Experience: Previous cleaning experience.

Responsibilities

• Window, Glass cleaning, sweeping, dusting, dust mopping, damp mopping, vacuuming, extracting carpet, stripping and waxing floors, removing trash.
• Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms and locker rooms, polishing exterior areas within 10 feet of entryways, washing windows.
• Removal of snow and ice, cleaning of desks/walls/furniture/doors/entry glass/interior glass/counter tops/chalkboards/whiteboards/blinds and light fixtures.
• Other duties as directed by custodial supervisor or designated representative.
