Job summary

Core-Mark in California is seeking a Warehouse Associate (union-represented) to support shipping and receiving in a fast-paced distribution center. The role operates Monday through Friday, 6:00AM–2:30PM, with a pay rate of $21.00/hour, and requires standing, lifting, and forklift duties to move products safely and efficiently.

Eligible employees are part of Teamsters benefits, with health, welfare, and pension plans per the collective bargaining agreement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• 6+ months of experience operating a Stand Up Reach Forklift.
• Must be able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
• Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products weighing 10-35 pounds and up to 60-90 pounds depending on location.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Performs general warehouse duties as assigned including forklift put-away, let-downs, will-call selection, returns, sanitation, break down pallets, wrapping pallets, order selection, loading, and receiving.
• Performs general housekeeping duties and keeps warehouse area, loading dock and trailers clear and clean; reports unsafe conditions.
• Performs daily safety checks of the assigned forklift/pallet jack.
• Performs damage control checks on items received and reports to supervisor.
• Removes batteries for recharging and completes vehicle inspection checklist.
• Reviews work schedule and daily production paperwork and prepares for operations.
• Puts on all required PPE and safety gear.
• Meets productivity and accuracy standards per location and guidelines.
• Secures equipment and completes paperwork.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
