48forty Solutions, LLC is seeking a Forklift Operator - Pallet Sorter at our Joliet, IL facility. You will move pallets and materials through the warehouse, support production requirements in various areas, and assist with loading and unloading customer trailers.

The role combines forklift operation (40%) and pallet sorting (60%), with emphasis on safety and efficiency. Pay is $21.00 per hour, with first-shift hours Monday–Friday 6:00am–2:30pm.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• 1-3 years forklift experience preferred, not required.
• Previous warehouse/logistics or related experience strongly preferred.
• Willingness to work in labor-intensive environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Move sorted pallet stacks to appropriate staging area using Relogistics forklift equipment.
• Operate forklifts with safety and adhere to company procedures.
• Hand-sort pallets when required.
• Repair wooden pallets using a nail gun when required.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
