Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Forklift Operator in the United States. The role involves operating stand-up and other material handling equipment, loading and unloading shipments, and moving stock within a fast-paced warehouse.

The ideal candidate has forklift certification or training and at least six months of warehouse and forklift experience. The position requires safety awareness and teamwork, with first shift hours and a pay rate of $20.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment
• High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
• Six months warehouse experience, preferred
• Six months forklift operation experience

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using forklifts or other power equipment 80% of shift
• Pull and prepare product for shipment ensuring correct quantity and type
• Maintain inventory records for accuracy
• Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards
• Verify load accuracy and report variances
• Change equipment batteries or LP tanks as needed
• Keep equipment and materials neat and orderly
• Assist in physical inventories
• Complete daily equipment inspections
• Perform other duties as assigned
