Job summary

Ajinomoto Foods North America is seeking a Day Shift Forklift Operator for our SE Portland, OR location. The role involves loading/unloading, stocking, and supporting production with ingredient delivery while maintaining a clean, organized warehouse.

You will operate electric forklifts, follow FIFO, and ensure accurate paperwork and inventory control. The position runs Monday–Friday, 5:30am–2:00pm, with benefits beginning on day one and competitive company programs.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of warehouse experience.
• 1+ year of forklift experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Able to work in loud production environments.
• Able to work in extreme temperatures indoors and outdoors.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, OSHA-compliant warehouse environment.
• Load and unload trucks and circulate materials.
• Maintain day-to-day inventory and forklift inspections.
• Operate electric forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Replenish stock and organize warehouse daily.
• Follow FIFO and proper stocking procedures.
• Complete required paperwork accurately.
