Job summary

Rhino Foods, Inc. is seeking a reliable Shipper/Receiver to join our Distribution Center team. You will handle incoming and outgoing shipments, verify orders, and maintain precise inventory records in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities include forklift handling, FIFO inventory, ERP documentation, and coordination with drivers for timely delivery. The role requires safety compliance, basic math, and teamwork within a family-owned, B Corp-certified organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• 6+ months of experience in warehousing, food manufacturing, or forklift operation preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and meet safety requirements.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and product quality.
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work respectfully and collaboratively.
• Good problem-solving skills and knowing when to elevate more complex issues.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and document incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders and ensuring quality standards.
• Safely unload, transport, and store raw materials and finished products using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
• Organize and rotate inventory using FIFO methods to maintain accuracy and freshness.
• Prepare and load outgoing shipments, including packaging, labeling, and securing products according to schedule.
• Maintain accurate records for all inbound and outbound shipments using ERP systems and reports.
• Greet and check in drivers and visitors, ensuring a professional and safe environment.
• Collaborate with team members across departments to prioritize and complete customer orders on time.
• Help maintain warehouse cleanliness by participating in the Master Sanitation program.
• Take part in department, team, and company meetings to support continuous improvement.
• Complete and maintain up-to-date certifications and training as required, including safety protocols, chemical handling, and GMPs.
