Job summary

LACOSTA Facility Support Services in New Orleans, LA is hiring for a full-time janitorial position. You will clean restrooms, offices, break rooms, lobby and manufacturing floors on the 1st shift from 5:00am to 1:30pm, Monday through Friday, earning $14.50 per hour with weekly pay.

The role requires reading and writing in English, the ability to pass background checks and drug screening, and physical endurance to lift up to 40 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write in English.
• Pass background checks and drug screening.
• Physical requirements: walking, standing, reaching, bending, and lifting 40lbs independently.
• Wear LACOSTA shirt, safety glasses, steel-toed boots/shoes, safety vest and long pants.
• Remove all jewelry and accessories.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the cleanliness of restrooms, offices, break rooms, stairwells, manufacturing floor, lobby, supply closets.
• Routine building cleaning.
• Restroom cleaning.
• Window cleaning.
• Trash and recycling removal/ policing ground for litter.
• Sweeping.
• Mopping.
• Stocking supply rooms.
