Job summary

Aramark Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Worker for Skokie Hospital on the 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 7:30am–3:30pm). The role involves upkeep of buildings and grounds, routine repairs, and safety adherence at the Skokie, IL site.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks.
• Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Must be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a friendly, efficient, positive customer service demeanor toward customers, clients, and co-workers.
• Repairs fixtures and hardware such as doors, windows, minor appliances, office equipment, etc.
• Performs basic plumbing and electrical maintenance, including lighting fixtures and ballast repairs.
• Inspects assigned area regularly and performs maintenance to keep the facility in good condition.
• Completes daily/weekly/monthly checklists for building and equipment maintenance.
• Reports major maintenance needs and recommends corrective action as appropriate.
