Job summary

Providence St. Joseph Hospital Eureka is seeking an EEG Technician for a full-time day shift. You will perform standard and complex electroencephalographic recordings and help ensure smooth neurodiagnostic operations.

The role requires national EEG certification, BLS, and at least 2 years of clinical EEG experience. Joining our team means contributing to patient-centered care at a recognised Providence facility.

Qualifications

• National Certification in EEG/EP technology upon hire.
• BLS certification by American Heart Association upon hire.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical EEG experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Specialized 2-year training coursework is preferred.
• Coursework in physical science, neuroanatomy, and EEG."

Responsibilities

• Perform standard and complex EEG recordings under supervision.
• Ensure efficient operations of neurodiagnostic exams.
• Provide clinical orientation and training as needed.

Education

Certification: American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists

BLS - American Heart Association

Clinical experience: 2 years

Bachelor’s Degree
