Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is hiring a Janitor. The role involves all-purpose cleaning and maintenance of assigned areas inside client sites, with flexibility to meet each client’s specifications.

The position offers 35 hours per week, Mon-Sun 6a-11a, at $12 per hour with weekly pay. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions; on-the-job training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or six months janitorial experience.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• On-the-job training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces (sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming).
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment usage.
• Clean, monitor and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas.
• Empty trash and use of compactors as needed.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
• Spot clean carpets and assist with carpet care.
• Replenish paper products and supplies.
• Follow the housekeeping schedule.
• Use heavy cleaning equipment when required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
