Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is seeking a Janitor to perform cleaning and preservation tasks at client sites in the Indianapolis metro area, including Noblesville, Carmel and Greenfield. The role covers floor care, restroom upkeep, trash disposal, and general maintenance per site specifications. Full-time 35 hours/week, 6am–11am schedule; occasional early/ weekend shifts may be required.

Weekly pay offered; on-the-job training provided. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or six months janitorial experience.
• On-the-job training will be provided.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming.
• Follow procedures for use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to protect floors and surfaces.
• Clean, monitor and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrances.
• Empty trash and manage disposal; operate compactors as needed.
• Clean windows, glass partitions and mirrors with appropriate cleaners.
• Spot-clean carpets and assist in carpet extractions and shampooing.
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies.
• Follow established housekeeping schedule.
• Occasionally use heavy cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers and buffers.
• Perform other duties as required by the scope of work or client needs.
