Job summary

BSA Hospital in Amarillo, TX is seeking a day-shift, full-time Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to support the operating room team. You will assist surgeons, maintain the sterile field, and help ensure patient safety throughout procedures.

Required: completion of a CAAHEP-accredited program, CST certification from NBSTSA or NCCT for pre-2009 practice, and BLS within 14 days of hire. Prior CST experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited program for surgical technologists.
• Must hold CST certification from NBSTSA or NCCT if practicing prior to 2009.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer.

Responsibilities

• The CST works under supervision to facilitate safe conduct of invasive procedures.
• Maintains sterile field and ensures patient safety during operations.
• Ensures the OR environment and equipment promote safe outcomes.
