Job summary

Qualifications

• No specific education requirement; 3-6 months training or experience preferred
• May require valid driver's license and completion of safety/task training; forklift certification may be required
• Bilingual a plus; ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures and manuals
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment, and chemicals; upkeep of cleaning equipment

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties in assigned areas
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor
• Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures
• Work in a team with other employees
• Present a professional appearance and conduct
• Follow all protocols and company policies
• Interact professionally with supervisors, co-workers, managers, and customers
• Fill in during staff shortages
• Support shift lead in completing punch‑list items
• Use proper personal protective equipment
• Understand customer service and satisfaction
• Understand reporting systems, and of the environment
