Job summary

Sprenger Health Care in Avon Lake, OH is seeking a Nursing Assistant who is certified as a Medication Aide to provide direct resident care at Main Street Care Center. The role requires adherence to nursing service policies and the ability to assist residents with bathing, feeding and daily personal care.

Qualifications

• Must be a nursing assistant in accordance with the state regulations.
• Must have at minimum a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be a Certified Medication Aide, having successfully completed a state approved training program and any necessary examination, and must provide documentation of such certification and show proof of state certification upon application for the position.

Responsibilities

• Follow established performance standards and perform duties according to nursing service policies and procedures.
• Provide direct resident care as assigned.
• Complete tub baths, showers or bed baths.
• Take residents to dining room and assist in feeding as assigned.
