Job summary

INTEGRIS Health Baptist Plaza in Oklahoma City, OK is seeking a day shift, full-time Certified Anesthesia Technician to support anesthesiologists across clinical settings throughout the hospital.

The role requires maintaining anesthesia machines, stocking drugs and supplies, transporting equipment, and assisting nursing staff with patient care. 6 months of relevant experience plus graduation from an accredited program are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an accredited Anesthesia Technician program.
• Cer. A.T.T. certification is preferred.
• Excellent communication in English is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, maintains and stores anesthesia machines and equipment; transports machines as needed.
• Stocks anesthesia machines with drugs and tray supplies; stocks anesthesia carts.
• Cleans and decontaminates anesthesia machine, equipment, and supplies.
• Ensures proper processing of reusable items.
• Rotates through calls and assists anesthesiologists and nursing staff in patient care.
• Prepares invasive lines used by anesthesiologists.
• Performs Point of Care testing.
• May retrieve and transport medications.
