Job summary

McLean in Simsbury, CT is seeking a Building Services Assistant to join the facilities team. Responsibilities include cleaning and sanitizing resident areas, maintaining common spaces, and following infection control and PPE practices. You will work 40 hours per week from 8:00 a.m.

to 4:30 p.m., with every other weekend rotation, contributing to a safe, welcoming environment for residents and staff. Pay ranges $18.00–$20.00 per hour, with benefits such as medical, dental, vision and retirement

Qualifications

• Prefer high school graduate or equivalent.
• Must read, speak, write and understand English.
• Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience in a health care environment helpful.
• Knowledge of infection control and PPE procedures.

Responsibilities

• Regular attendance and punctuality to maintain a sanitary and safe environment.
• Clean assigned areas following infection control guidelines and PPE.
• Clean toilets, urinals, showers, sinks and tubs; polish fixtures.
• Replenish supplies and report low stock to supervisor.
• Work as part of a team and deliver courteous resident service.
