Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in Ft. Collins, CO is seeking a day-shift Behavioral Health Technician to help manage daily residential operations, engage clients, and support a warm recovery environment.

You’ll train and assist the BHT team, escalate crises when needed, and ensure adherence to all center policies while providing compassionate, respectful care in a busy, nationwide network known for evidence-based treatment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• Minimum one-year sobriety if in recovery.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Warm, empathetic personality with ability to set firm boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Manage all daily residential operations (intake, supervision, events, transportation, meals, medications).
• Train and support BHT team in all operations.
• Escalate concerns or crises to Lead Behavioral Health Technician.
• Oversee client engagement and morale to maintain a positive recovery environment.
• Ensure compliance with all Avenues rules, policies and procedures.
