Job summary

Right At Home Indianapolis West is seeking compassionate caregivers, CNAs, and HHAs to support seniors and adults with disabilities in their own homes. Competitive hourly pay ($14.00–$17.00) with weekly pay and flexible scheduling are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (preferred)
• Ability to lift 50 lbs without assistance
• English reading/writing/speaking as needed for the job
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
• Pass a background check
• CNA/HHA/PCA certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with mobility, transfers and fall prevention
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and household tasks
• Provide medication reminders as permitted by policy
• Assist with errands and transportation to appointments when authorized
• Observe and report changes in clients’ condition
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate with care team
• Provide compassionate care while maintaining dignity, privacy, and safety

Job Responsibilities

Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous caregiving, home health, CNA, or healthcare experience preferred.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and professional.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must have a working cell phone and be able to communicate with the office.
• Must be comfortable assisting clients with personal care.
• Ability to follow individualized care plans and company policies.
• Must successfully complete required background checks and onboarding requirements.
• Experience with dementia, hospice, Hoyer lifts, and mobility assistance is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
