Job summary

Tekni-Plex is seeking Quality Control Technicians for our new Van Wert, OH plant. Day shift runs 4:45a–5:00p on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule with a starting entry wage of $19.50/hour.

Responsibilities include safely conducting quality checks, auditing processes, entering data into our quality database, and training operators to spot defects and ensure food safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• At least one year of Quality Control experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience training others and entering data into a database strongly preferred.
• Experience with GMPs and/or HACCP is a huge plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality checks throughout the manufacturing process of molded pulp egg cartons.
• Perform audits and data entry of quality checks into the database.
• Train production equipment operators to recognize high quality product vs. defects.
• Help ensure compliance with Food Safety requirements.

Summary

Quality Technicians will be responsible for safely/efficiently conducting quality checks throughout the manufacturing process of our Fiber Egg Cartons. Techs conduct audits and perform data entry of quality checks into our database, train production equipment operators on how to recognize high quality product vs. product/printing defects. Quality Techs help to ensure we are compliant with Food Safety requirements.

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE

At least one year of Quality Control experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable. Experience training others & entering data into database strongly preferred. Experience with GMPs and/or HACCP will be a HUGE plus!
