Job summary

Aptiv is seeking a Day Service Associate in Lancaster, WI for a part-time role focused on helping individuals with disabilities develop essential life skills, participate in engaging activities, and work toward personal goals.

You will build relationships, support daily routines, and lead activities such as art, exercise, music, and community outings, while maintaining a compassionate and flexible daytime schedule.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
• Access to reliable non-public transportation with required insurance coverage.
• Flexibility in scheduling.
• Ability to operate computer equipment; knowledge of various software packages including Office Windows applications 2007 and above.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging, hands-on activities such as art, exercise, daily living and independence skills.
• Plan and deliver activities to help individuals build skills and confidence.
• Support personal care and daily routines while encouraging self-advocacy.
• Assist with community inclusion and outings.
• Foster growth, relationships and a positive, supportive team environment.

Aptiv is looking for a Day Service Associate to join our team!

As a Day Service Associate, you will build meaningful relationships, help individuals with disabilities develop important life skills, participate in fun and creative activities, and support people as they work toward their personal goals. This position earns a competitive hourly rate of $15.85/hr

Schedule:

Day Service Associates typically work 10-29 hours per week, depending on employment status and program needs.

Our typical schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM, with some flexibility in start and end times. We are looking for reliable, flexible team members who are available to work full shifts and want to make a difference.

Days and hours may occasionally vary based on program and transportation needs, so we appreciate team members who are willing to be flexible while enjoying a rewarding, consistent daytime work environment.
