Job summary

ViaQuest Day & Employment Services in Grove City, OH is seeking a DSP for Day Program on a full-time basis (Mon–Fri, 1st shift). The role involves direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities and transporting them to and from the Day Program.

Training, CPR and First Aid certifications are provided. Benefits include medical, vision, dental, disability, life insurance and a 401k.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Fewer than 6 points in the last three years on your motor vehicle record.
• Can push, lift or carry up to 50 lbs. and can climb, balance, kneel and crouch.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities - foster increased independence, choice and empowerment while ensuring health and safety.
• Supervising, teaching and assisting individuals in all aspects of their lives.
• Transporting individuals between homes and the Day Program using a company passenger van.
• Participating in community outings with transportation and assistance.
