ViaQuest Day & Employment Services in Painesville, OH is seeking a Program Specialist to provide direct care and support in our Day Program. Training is provided; no prior experience required. The role is full-time, Monday through Friday, 1st shift, with an hourly wage of $17.75.

Responsibilities include supervising individuals, assisting in daily activities, transporting participants using a company van, and supporting community outings while ensuring health and safety.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license.
• Motor Vehicle Record must meet ViaQuest's Authorized Driver Criteria.
• Capable of pushing, lifting or carrying up to 50 lbs and able to climb, balance, kneel and crouch.

Responsabilités

• Providing direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities - our goal is to foster increased independence, choice and empowerment while assuring that their health and safety needs are met at all times.
• Supervising, teaching and assisting individuals in all aspects of daily life.
• Transporting individuals between homes and the Day Program using a company passenger van.
• Providing personal care assistance.
• Participating in community outings through transportation and assistance of the individuals served.
