Job summary

Lumibility is seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide supervision, support and training in our Branford day program, with travel to Westbrook as needed. You will help individuals develop social skills, independence and community participation.

Responsibilities include guiding behavior, maintaining records, arranging transportation, and ensuring safety. The role requires a high school diploma, being 18+, and a valid CT driver's license; a personal vehicle is needed for Lumibility’s

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; higher degree preferred.
Knowledge of learning and behavioral processes helpful.
Must be over 18 and possess a valid CT driver’s license, have an acceptable driving history and utilize own vehicle for Lumibility business.

Responsibilities

Provide supervision, guidance and instruction to individuals in assigned day service setting(s).
Develop and implement activities that are person-centered and promote positive outcomes.
Maintain medical, social and programmatic files with progress notes and reports.
Supply transportation for participants in accordance with Lumibility policies.
Ensure health, safety, and well-being of individuals per the service plan and policies.
