Job summary

Sunrise is seeking a Direct Support Supervisor to provide leadership in Day Program settings for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role emphasizes safety, staff supervision, and program documentation to support people in community living.

Requires a HS diploma, two years in human services, supervisory experience, basic computer skills, and a valid driver’s license. This is a fulltime onsite position with comprehensive benefits and a drug-free workplace policy.

Qualifications

  • Must successfully complete the required pre-employment Background and Drug Screenings.
  • Must possess a valid Driver's License which meets company standards for approved driver status.
  • Must possess basic computer skills.
  • Must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum two years of experience working in the human service field.
  • Minimum two years of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provides support, supervision to all staff and individuals in the Day Program setting.
  • Creates and maintains a positive, learning, supportive environment for all employees and individuals.
  • Ensures accuracy and efficiency in billing and staffing in regards to daily revenue.
  • Ensures implementation and documentation of all training, support and behavior programs as required by the individual's plan and regulatory agencies.
  • Ensures safety by accounting for all employees and individuals on site, in the van, and on trip activities.
  • Ensures employee compliance with policies and procedures through monitoring and training.
  • Provides constructive feedback to employees through positive interactions, role modeling, and mentoring.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

Hourly: $25.00 SR97A11

This position will remain open until filled.
