Beacon Specialized Living is seeking a Day Program Professional to support adults in a structured daytime setting, leading engaging activities and promoting independence and community inclusion.

You will implement individual service plans, ensure safety, provide personal care as needed, and help individuals achieve personal goals through daily programming and community outings. This role offers growth through the LEAP program and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license.
• GED or High School Diploma.
• Compassionate, dependable, and team- oriented.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Lead structured activities including social, recreational, and community-based programming
• Support individuals in building independence, social skills, and daily living skills
• Implement individual service plans and support progress toward personal goals
• Ensure health, safety, and dignity of individuals during program hours, transportation, and community outings
• Provide personal care and administer medications as needed (training provided)
• Promote inclusion and positive community engagement
• Utilize crisis prevention and intervention strategies to support individuals safely
• Complete required documentation including daily logs and incident reports
• Transport individuals and supervise activities in community settings
• Prepare meals and maintain a clean, organized home environment

What You’ll Do as a Day Program Professional
