Job summary

Sevita is seeking a Recreation/Volunteer Coordinator to support our Day Program alongside the Recreational Therapist. The role focuses on planning and attending community outings and volunteering opportunities, with an emphasis on compassionate client interaction and safe, engaging activities.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, six months in human services, and a valid driver’s license. This full-time role offers benefits, orientation, and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Assist with personal hygiene and physical cares.

• Use proper lifting and bending techniques to physically support clients.

NeuroRestorative, a part of the Sevita family, provides rehabilitation services for people of all ages with brain, spinal cord and medically complex injuries, illnesses and other challenges. In a variety of locations and community-based settings, we offer a range of programs, including vocational and therapy programs, day treatments, and specialized services for infants, children, adolescents, Military Service Members and Veterans.

Recreation/Volunteer Coordinator | Day Program Assistant

• Mon., Tues., Wed., Fri. | 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. | 32 hours/week
• 6 months previous experience required (technical, paid or volunteer)

Starting Pay: $16/hour

Preliminary Requirements

• Proof of valid driver’s license held for at least one year with good driving record
• Ability to attend orientation and training
