Job summary

ViaQuest, Inc. seeks a DSP for Day Program on a full-time basis in Centerville, OH. The role offers training in its entirety and no prior experience is required.

You will provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, helping them gain independence and safety in daily activities. The position is set for weekdays, first shift, with competitive hourly pay and a comprehensive benefits package including paid training, medical/dental/vision, a 401k and time off.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license.
• Motor Vehicle Record must meet ViaQuest's Authorized Driver Criteria.
• Ability to push, lift or carry up to 50 lbs. and to crouch, kneel and balance.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities to foster independence, choice and empowerment while ensuring health and safety.
• Supervising, teaching and assisting individuals in all aspects of daily living.
• Transporting individuals between homes and the Day Program using a company passenger van.
• Providing personal care assistance.
• Participating in community outings with transportation and assistance.
