Job summary

Elite Building Services is seeking a Day Porter in Holyoke, MA to maintain cleanliness and appearance of a facility during the day. Tasks include cleaning restrooms, lobbies, and high-traffic areas, plus light maintenance as needed.

The role runs Mondays through Fridays from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, paying $18.00 per hour. A reliable car to the location is required, and a neat Elite Uniform is worn during shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning.
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning practices is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• MUST have a reliable car to location.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, lobbies, hallways and common areas.
• Dust furniture, fixtures, countertops and surfaces.
• Vacuum carpets and rugs; sweep and mop floors.
• Empty trash and replace paper and soap dispensers.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment; follow safety protocols.
