Job summary

CSI International, Inc. is seeking a dependable Day Porter in Columbus, OH to maintain a clean facility. You will perform a variety of cleaning tasks, stock restrooms, manage trash, and assist with events.

Basic knowledge of cleaning products and time management are important. Hours are Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with duties including minor repairs and coordination with a contract cleaning service as needed. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and U.S.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. (E-Verify) is required.
• Able to work independently or with a team.
• Experience with cleaning tasks preferred.
• Familiar with cleaning products and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• General cleaning of the building and keeping it maintained.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
• Cleaning and stock restrooms.
• Empty trash and recycling bins.
• Remove debris and snow from sidewalks.
• Ensure doors are locked after hours.
• Clean up spills with appropriate equipment.
• Perform minor repairs on the facility or equipment as needed.
• Assist setting up and taking down equipment for events or meetings.
• Notify supervisors of major repairs.
• Complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
• Keep cleaning supplies in stock.
• Work with a contract cleaning service when necessary.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by your supervisor.

What You’ll Be Doing

We are looking for a dependable and energetic Day Porter to keep our facilities clean. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean facility by completing a variety of cleaning tasks to keep the buildings looking perfect. To work well in this role, you should have some cleaning experience and basic knowledge of various cleaning products.

Day Porter Responsibilities

• General cleaning of the building and keeping it maintained and in good condition.


• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.


• Cleaning and stock restrooms.


• Empty trash and recycling bins.


• Remove debris and snow from sidewalks.


• Ensure doors are locked after hours.


• Clean up spills with appropriate equipment.


• Perform minor repairs on the facility or equipment as needed.
