Job summary

The Professional Group in Kalamazoo, MI is seeking a Day Porter to help maintain a clean, safe facility for clients and staff. You will report to building supervision and support a courteous, professional environment for the day-to-day operation.

Responsibilities include sanitizing restrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, emptying trash, restocking supplies, and reporting incidents promptly. A background check is required and a high school diploma is preferred; flexible hours are available.

Responsibilities

• Clean offices and cubicles; avoid moving items from desks.
• Report accidents and client concerns to supervisor.
• Load/unload supplies; store tools after use.
• Follow safety practices and promote company culture.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Represent the everyday culture of The Professional Group.**POSITION REQUIREMENTS – ESSENTIALS FUNCTIONS*** Report to and follow the directions of building supervision. Relieve, assist, or fill in temporarily on other jobs assigned by the supervisor* In Restrooms - clean and sanitize all surfaces including stall walls and doors. Clean and sanitizes all sinks and toilets. Clean mirrors. Sweep and mop floors. Remove trash and replace bags. Restock all paper products and soap.* Offices and cubicles – empty trash containers and replace bags. Dust all horizontal surfaces. High and low dust to account specifications. Do not move or disturb anything on desks or credenzas. Vacuum carpeted floors as you leave an office or cubicle.* Hallways and public areas – empty all trash containers and replace bags. Spot clean doors and walls as needed. Dust all flat surfaces.
