Job summary

Advanced, Inc is seeking a motivated Day Porter to maintain cleanliness and organization of our facility (medical, office, venue, etc.). The Day Porter will ensure that our facility remains a welcoming and sanitary space for patients, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities include routine cleaning, disinfecting high-touch surfaces, managing trash and medical waste, restocking supplies, assisting with meeting rooms and events, and collaborating with maintenance.

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial or custodial experience, preferably in a medical setting.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and cleaning equipment usage.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness standards.
• Understanding of infection control practices.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Physical stamina to lift and stand for extended periods.
• Flexibility for day and evening shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning of common areas, lobbies, waiting rooms, hallways, and restrooms.
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces and sanitize as required.
• Empty and dispose of trash and medical waste per guidelines.
• Restock soap, towels, and toilet paper as needed.
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and report reorder needs.
• Set up and clean meeting spaces and event areas.
• Collaborate with maintenance and facility teams to address issues.
• Follow safety protocols and handle cleaning chemicals properly.
• Report maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor.
• Other tasks as requested by the customer or Advanced, Inc.
