Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a reliable Day Porter/Exterior Cleaner to maintain clean, safe facilities across two sites. The role involves routine cleaning, sanitizing restrooms, waste handling, and site setup support. Competitive hourly pay with a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Shifts are Wednesdays to Friday and weekends, with two site locations in Bayview and Moffett. ABM encourages veterans and candidates with military experience to apply and welcomes diverse backgrounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous janitorial or custodial cleaning experience is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing floors and surfaces.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies and ensure hygiene standards are met.
• Empty trash and recycling bins and waste according to company policies.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
• Maintain and store cleaning equipment and supplies properly.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the supervisor.
• Assist with setup and cleanup for meetings, events, or special projects as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and company protocols related to cleaning and sanitation.
