Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a reliable Day Porter / Exterior Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe environment across assigned facilities. Responsibilities include routine interior cleaning and exterior upkeep to support a positive experience for employees, clients, and visitors.

The role offers an hourly pay of $20.20 with a Wed-Sun shift (7am-3:30pm). ABM provides a comprehensive benefits package and supports veterans and military experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1 to 2 years of janitorial experience; commercial building cleaning experience and larger hotel experience is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety standards.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish floors and surfaces.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and maintain hygiene standards.
• Empty trash and recycling in accordance with company policies.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
• Maintain and store cleaning equipment and supplies properly.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the supervisor.
• Assist with setup and cleanup for meetings, events, or special projects as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and company protocols related to cleaning and sanitation.
• Exterior porter tasks (leaf blowing, spider web removal, exterior furniture care) would be a plus.
