ABM Industries is seeking a Day Porter to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment during business hours in Kendall, FL. This role focuses on high-traffic areas and immediate cleaning needs, ensuring restrooms, breakrooms, and entryways remain presentable.

The ideal candidate will perform routine cleaning tasks, monitor restrooms, restock supplies, report issues, and provide courteous service to staff and visitors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in janitorial, custodial, or general cleaning roles is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety standards.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of lobbies, hallways, restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas throughout the day
• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
• Monitor restrooms and restock supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, and soap
• Clean spills, fingerprints, smudges, and debris as needed
• Empty trash and recycling receptacles and replace liners
• Wipe down high-touch surfaces such as door handles, elevator buttons, and railings
• Set up or break down rooms for meetings or events as requested
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply needs to supervisor
• Follow established safety procedures and cleaning protocols
• Provide courteous and professional customer service to staff and visitors
