• Janitorial experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high standard of excellence.
• Empty and replace liners on all exterior trash receptacles.
• Policing of restrooms restocking product (i.e. Soap, towels, tissue and deodorizers, as needed).
• Dusting of mullions and exterior windowsills.
• Dust mop main lobby floor.
• Dusting of light fixtures and metal work in lobby.
• Check common area and clean interior of elevator cabs.
• Walk/police interior or exterior stairwells.
• Pour water down the drains in all restrooms.
• Dust mop/sweep hard surface floors.
• Wet mop hard surface floors.
• Report unit maintenance issues as per company procedure.
• Report damaged, dirty or stained carpets, drapes, furniture and linens.
• Report inventory and supplies to Supervisor.
• Report lost and found items to Supervisor/Manager.
• Assist in maintaining storage closets clean and organized.
• Ensure a safe working environment at each site and office.
• Utilize supplies and equipment efficiently and effectively.
• Utilize time wisely and efficiently

Position Overview

Responsible for consistently meeting quality and timeliness standards in the cleaning of commercial properties. A Day Porter must ensure he/she follows company mission statement and values.
