Job summary

MasterCorp, Inc. in Georgia is seeking a Day Porter to maintain the cleanliness of our commercial properties and ensure a safe, welcoming environment for clients and staff.

This part-time role runs 7 AM to 11 AM and pays $15 per hour, with paid training and benefits available. You will perform duties such as cleaning entrances, restrooms, floors, and common areas, restocking supplies, and reporting maintenance issues.

Qualifications

• Janitorial experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness for commercial properties.

• Empty and replace liners in exterior trash receptacles.
• Restock restrooms with soap, towels, tissue and deodorizer.
• Dust and wipe lobby fixtures and floors.
• Vacuum and mop hard surface floors.
• Report maintenance issues per company procedure.
• Ensure a safe working environment at each site.

Position Overview

Responsible for consistently meeting quality and timeliness standards in the cleaning of commercial properties.

A Day Porter must ensure he/she follows company mission statement and values.

Essential Functions

• Maintain a high standard of excellence
• Clean main entrance glass
• Empty and replace liners on all exterior trash receptacles
• Policing of restrooms restocking product (i.e. Soap, towels, tissue and deodorizers, as needed)
• Dusting of mullions and exterior windowsills
• Dust mop main lobby floor
• Dusting of light fixtures and metal work in lobby
• Check common area and clean interior of elevator cabs
• Walk/police interior or exterior stairwells.
• Pour water down the drains in all restrooms
• Vacuum
• Dust mop/sweep hard surface floors
• Wet mop hard surface floors
• Report unit maintenance issues as per company procedure
• Report damaged, dirty or stained carpets, drapes, furniture and linens
• Report inventory and supplies to Supervisor
• Report lost and found items to Supervisor/Manager
• Assist in maintaining storage closets clean and organized
• Ensure a safe working environment at each site and office
• Utilize supplies and equipment efficiently and effectively
• Utilize time wisely and efficiently

Experience and Education Requirements

• Janitorial experience is a plus.
• A passion for cleanliness
• Strong work ethic

• Work irregular hours
• Travel – rarely
• Physical Requirements: This position frequently requires standing, walking, pushing, pulling, moving, lifting (up to 25 lbs), bending, reaching, occasional ascending/descending, and repetitive motions.
