ADVANCED INC. in Bellevue, WA is seeking a motivated Day Porter to maintain cleanliness and organization of our facility for patients, visitors, and staff. The role emphasizes routine cleaning of common areas and restrooms, with emphasis on infection control and safety.

The full-time position requires lifting up to 50 pounds, teamwork, and flexibility for day/evening shifts. Working hours align with facility needs, typically 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial or custodial experience, preferably in healthcare.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and appropriate equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness standards.
• Understanding of infection control practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning of common areas, lobbies, waiting rooms, corridors, and restrooms.
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces such as doorknobs, rails, switches, and elevator buttons.
• Empty trash and medical waste per guidelines.
• Restock soap, towels, toilet paper; monitor supply levels.
• Assist with setup/cleanup of meetings and events.
• Coordinate with maintenance to address cleanliness and safety issues.
• Report repairs to appropriate personnel and follow safety protocols.
