Job summary

Dunkin’ - Franchisee of Dunkin Donuts in Gibbsboro, NJ is seeking a Facility Maintenance and Janitorial Day Porter to keep dining and back-of-house areas clean, safe, and welcoming. You will perform light maintenance, restock supplies, and support daily operations.

The role emphasizes sanitation, safety procedures, and cooperative teamwork. Donuts prep included; you’ll stock donuts and assist in creating a tidy, inviting guest experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in janitorial or kitchen sanitation.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and chemical handling.
• Comfort working independently during busy shifts.
• Willingness to stock supplies and perform light maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Sanitation & Cleaning: Sweep, mop, vacuum, and scrub floors. Clean and sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, storage rooms, and lobbies. Wipe down surfaces and glass to keep areas shining.
• Trash & Recycling: Empty trash receptacles, replace liners, and manage cardboard and recycling. Help keep refuse and compactor rooms tidy and compliant.
• Restocking Supplies: Monitor and replenish essentials throughout the day, including soap, paper towels, toilet paper, and sanitizing stations.
• Light Maintenance & Repairs: Complete basic upkeep such as replacing light bulbs, changing HVAC air filters, clearing minor clogs, and performing small patching or touch-ups (including paint work when needed).
• Grounds & Exterior Upkeep: Maintain entryways and outdoor common areas. Clear debris and handle minor weather-related tasks such as ice melting or snow sweeping.
• Event & Space Setup: Set up, break down, and clean shared spaces such as conference rooms or event areas as scheduled.
• Safety & Reporting: Identify hazards, place wet-floor warning signs, and follow OSHA/SDS chemical safety guidelines. Report major maintenance issues to facilities management promptly.
• Donuts Prep: Support daily donut preparation by preparing donuts and stocking them on shelves.
