Job summary

ABM is seeking a Day Porter in Twin Falls, ID to maintain clean, safe, and welcoming spaces during business hours. You will focus on high-traffic areas, respond to immediate cleaning needs, and keep lobbies, restrooms, breakrooms, and entryways presentable throughout the day.

The role requires sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, restocking supplies, setting up rooms for meetings, reporting issues, and following safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Previous janitorial, custodial, or porter experience is a plus.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 25–50 pounds.
• Follow safety guidelines and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of lobbies, hallways, restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas throughout the day.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
• Monitor restrooms and restock supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, and soap.
• Clean spills, fingerprints, smudges, and debris as needed.
• Empty trash and recycling receptacles and replace liners.
• Wipe down high-touch surfaces such as door handles, elevator buttons, and railings.
• Set up or break down rooms for meetings or events as requested.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply needs to supervisor.
• Follow established safety procedures and cleaning protocols.
• Provide courteous and professional customer service to staff and visitors.

Job description

The Day Porter is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment during business hours. This role focuses on high-traffic areas, responding to immediate cleaning needs, and ensuring restrooms, common spaces, and entryways remain presentable throughout the day.

Pay: $16.50 to $16.50 per hour

The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant's experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
