Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a reliable Janitorial Cleaner for duties across assigned facilities in West Houston Energy Corridor (77079). The role Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with weekly pay and an hourly wage of $14.50.

Responsibilities include cleaning, sanitizing restrooms, restocking supplies, door/window cleaning, and reporting safety hazards. Applicants with prior janitorial or custodial experience are preferred; a high school diploma or equivalent is desirable.

Qualifications

• Must have basic cleaning knowledge and safety standards.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Experience in janitorial, custodial, or general cleaning is a plus.

• Flexible to follow schedules and adapt to facility needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing floors and surfaces.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and ensure hygiene standards are met.
• Empty trash and recycling bins and waste in accordance with company policies.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
• Maintain and store cleaning equipment and supplies properly.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the supervisor.
• Assist with setup and cleanup for meetings, events, or special projects as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and company protocols related to cleaning and sanitation.
