Job summary

GDI, Inc. is seeking a General Cleaner to join our Cleveland, OH team.

The role focuses on maintaining a clean, safe office environment with routine cleaning of offices, restrooms, breakrooms, and other common areas during Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Candidates should be able to work well with others, follow supervisor instructions, and handle basic cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal.

Qualifications

• Experience cleaning commercial buildings preferred but not required.
• Ability to work with others and follow supervisor instructions.
• Reliable transportation and appropriate footwear are required.
• Ability to work in hot conditions.

Responsibilities

• Clean a commercial office building, including restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum floors and remove trash.
• Dust surfaces and maintain cleanliness throughout the shift.

General Cleaner's Responsibilities Include, but not limited to:

• Cleaning of a commercial office building.
• Cleaning restrooms, breakrooms, dusting and trash removal.
• Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.

Requirements:

• Experience with cleaning commercial buildings a plus but not required.
• Must have the ability to work with other crew members.
• Must be able to listen to customer requests and follow supervisor instructions.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Steel toed shoes required when applicable.
• Ability to work in hot conditions.
