Job summary

Open Sky Community Services is seeking a Day Hab Support Staff to provide direct care and create a structured environment for adults in its Day Habilitation program. You will guide individuals, advocate for them, and teach life skills to maximize community involvement and independence.

Responsibilities include implementing plans, maintaining documentation, ensuring safety, fostering valued roles, and joining team meetings to coordinate care.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent, required.
  • Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record, required.
  • Drug testing required.
  • Reliability, willingness to learn, and being open to new opportunities.

Job Description

Open Sky's Day Habilitation programs serves adults between the ages of 23-85 with a primary diagnosis of intellectual disabilities, though some individuals may also have mental health diagnoses and/or physical challenges. Most participants require supportive structures and staff assistance to maximize their involvement in activities within the program as well as within the local community. Our staff educate through the creation and implementation of individualized service plans, daily curriculum/activities, and have a heavy focus on community integration.

As a Day Hab Support Staff, you will provide support to the individuals served in a direct care role by ensuring a supportive and structured environment. They also provide guidance, advocacy, and life skills education for individuals served within the Day Program.

Other Key Responsibilities

The organization recognizes skills, location, training and population served in certain programs by offering an additional hourly differential.

Pay Range

$20.00-$22.48
