You will respond to last-minute requests from school staff and management, maintain equipment, and follow safety procedures. Reliability and professionalism are essential for this position.

Qualifications

• Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
• Capable of using cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and floor scrubbers.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, spot cleaning, and any other task assigned by the manager.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including sinks, toilets, mirrors, and replenishing supplies.
• Empty trash cans and dispose of waste safely.
• Dust and wipe down furniture, windowsills, light fixtures, and other surfaces.
• Clean and disinfect high-touch areas such as door handles, light switches, and handrails.
