Job summary

Mr. Greens is hiring a Day Warehouse Selector in the Dallas/Arlington area to pick full-case grocery, frozen, and perishable items from warehouse slots using pallet jacks or forklifts.

You will load pallets, wrap them, and transport to the shipping dock, with some deliveries to customers as needed. The role requires punctuality, at least 2 years of forklift/pallet jack experience, and the ability to work weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be punctual and reliable.
• Forklift/pallet jack experience required (2+ years).
• Must pass a drug test.
• Weekend availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and move products safely and efficiently.
• Operate pallet jack and forklift as needed in a multi-temperature environment.
• Use pick sheets to locate items and prepare pallets for shipping.
• Verify quantities and ensure items are picked accurately to prevent damage.
• Keep the warehouse clean and report damaged equipment to supervisors.

# Day Crew SelectorHot JobDallas - Arlington, TX 76011## Description**Mr. Greens is seeking a Day Warehouse Selector****Overview:**Mr. Greens has proudly grown into one of the largest privately-owned produce distributors in Florida, Georgia and Texas. With deliveries 365-days a year, 7-days a week and multiple runs per day, Mr. Greens has set the gold standard for service. Mr. Greens serves a large variety of clients, including restaurants, hotels, country clubs, caterers, grocery stores and retail outlets.**Summary:**Mr. Greens is looking for highly motivated and dedicated Selectors that can work individually selecting full-case grocery, frozen, and/or perishable products from warehouse pick slots using a pallet jack or other equipment. You will then fit the items on a pallet plastic wrap the bundles, transport pallets to shipping dock and in some cases, load them onto a trailer to delivery to customers. All employees are expected to make safety their top priority.**Accountabilities:*** Perform general physical activities load, unload, sort and move products and materials by hand or using basic material handling equipment* Perform tasks in multi-temperature environments* Select merchandise for shipment and stack on pallet neatly by using a pallet jack or forklift* Use a pick sheet to find out individual items inside warehouse* Breakdown and restack merchandise from pallets* Verify quantity of the products* Ensure items pick accurately and safely to prevent damage* Keep warehouse tidy by picking up scrap wood, paper, plastic wrappers, and broken pallets* Maintaining a food-safe environment* Report any damaged equipment to shift supervisor or maintenance staff* Other duties as assigned.## Qualifications**Requirements:*** Required to be punctual.* Forklift/pallet jack 2 year* Must Pass A Drug Test* Available to work on weekends**Physical Demands/ Work Environment**The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
