Day Club Activity Assistant- Full Time (Monday- Friday)
Revere Court Memory Care seeks a Day Club Activity Assistant who will help with the Dementia-specific Day Club program.

Responsibilities
- Implement the comprehensive activity program for both groups of residents and individual resident’s interests.
- May drive residents on outings and to appointments, as necessary.
- Assist Day Club Director in decorating, party planning, and other related duties.
- Provide care and supervision of Day Club clients.
- Gathers supplies, prepares for activities, solicits resident participation, leads activities, cleans up after activities.
- Provides one-on-one socialization to residents as needed or as directed.
- Drive the bus for resident transportation.
- Decorate for, and assist with, special events and holidays.
- Market the community in the community at large when opportunities arise.
- Work as a team member to maintain a pleasant, effective work environment for staff and caring home environment for the residents.
- Assist Day Club Director in developing and creating new and interesting activities, games, events, and lifelong learning opportunities.
- Assist in mealtime service.
- Communicate regularly with Day Club Director regarding inventory supply needs, activity participation, Resident issues, Resident requests, and any other activity and event related issues.
- Assist with monthly newsletter production.
- Assist with creating monthly activity calendar.
- Respond professionally and timely to all phone calls, emails, and questions from Residents, family members, and staff.
- Assist in decorating for all holidays and special events.
- Serve on committees as assigned.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- A high school diploma is required.
- Current driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
- Activity work experience with seniors is preferred.
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
- Must have an acceptable Criminal Record Clearance or Exemption, be fit-for-duty as evidenced by a Health Screening and have TB Clearance.
- Must have a current CPR card.

Push residents’ wheelchairs for safety. Ability to maintain positive attitude and make sound decisions.
