Safari Contract Cleaners in Mt. Pleasant, PA is seeking a dependable Day Porter for a part-time daytime schedule.

The role covers cleaning duties across offices and common areas, maintaining a neat and sanitary facility, and following established cleaning procedures. The position offers a flexible start after 9:00 AM, 3–4 hours per day, Monday through Friday, with paid training, holidays and vacation time, and opportunities for long-term placement and growth.

Qualifications

• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
• Comfortable working independently and staying on task.
• Detail-oriented and keeps facilities clean and presentable.
• Able to follow instructions and established cleaning procedures.
• Previous cleaning experience is a plus, but not required - paid training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the facility throughout the day
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, offices, common areas, and other assigned areas
• Empty waste receptacles and replace liners as needed
• Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors as needed
• Wipe down and sanitize high-touch surfaces
• Replenish paper products, soap, and other supplies
• Address cleaning needs as they arise
• Follow established cleaning procedures and company quality standards
• Work independently and complete assigned duties efficiently

Position Details

• Location: Mt. Pleasant, PA

• Position: Day Porter

• Status: Part-time

• Schedule: Monday through Friday

• Hours: 3-4 hours per day

• Shift: Flexible daytime schedule - start any time after 9:00 AM, with work completed by 2:00 PM

• Weekly Hours: Approximately 15-20 hours per week

• No evening or weekend work

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the facility throughout the day

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, offices, common areas, and other assigned areas
