Berwick - YMCA is seeking a seasonal day camp supervisor to oversee a group of children, planning daily recreational, social, educational, and cultural activities aligned with YMCA core values. The role fosters a small community environment and delivers a quality experience for children and parents.
The position requires high school graduation (or equivalent), camp experience preferred, and completion of CPR/First Aid/AED and Child Abuse Prevention training within 30 days of hire.
Provides direct supervision of a group of children in a seasonal day camp. Plans and implements daily recreational, social development, educational and cultural activities for groups of children. Fosters an environment of small community living. Provides a quality experience to children and parents focused on YMCA core values: honesty, respect, responsibility, and caring.
Accepts and demonstrates the Y’s values. Demonstrates a desire to serve others and fulfill community needs. Recruits volunteers and builds effective, supportive working relationships with them. Supports fund-raising.
