Job summary

A leading radiology practice in North Carolina is seeking experienced Breast Imagers. You will focus on advanced breast imaging techniques, including MRIs and biopsies, in a supportive team environment. Ideal candidates will possess a Doctor of Medicine degree and a fellowship in Breast Imaging, along with a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Completed a one-year post-residency fellowship training in Breast Imaging or extensive experience.
• ABR or AOBR Board-certified / board-eligible.
• Licensed or ability to obtain a license in North Carolina.
• ABR or AOBR board-certified or board-eligible.
• One-year post-residency fellowship in Breast Imaging or extensive breast imaging experience.
• MQSA certification.
• Licensed or eligible for North Carolina medical license.

Responsibilities

• Perform breast imaging, including ultrasound and biopsies.
• Collaborate with local surgeons and oncologists.
• Contribute to a dedicated breast imaging service.
• Collaborate with local surgeons, pathologists and oncologists.
• Participate in a partnership track and clinic schedule.
• No overnight call requirement.

Overview

Greensboro Radiology is seeking Breast Imagers to join an established practice in central North Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Heavy concentration in dedicated breast imaging including ultrasound, stereo and MRI guided breast biopsies
• Proficient and comfortable with:
• 3-D Mammography
• Diagnostic breast MRI and ultrasound
• Ultrasound, MRI, and Stereo Guided Biopsies and Aspirations
• A collaborative environment with the local surgeons, pathologists and oncologists
• Partnership track
• Monday through Friday breast imaging only
• Overnight call is not required

Desired Professional Skills and Experience

• Candidates must be a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy
• Residency trained, ACGME Accredited Diagnostic Radiology Program
