Job summary

Schnucks in Illinois is hiring a customer service teammate. You will provide friendly and courteous service to customers and help bag groceries, with regular attendance being essential.

Training is provided at store level. You may be assigned varied duties including cart retrieval, floor cleaning, stocking, price verification, and assisting customers to their cars. The compensation range shown is $15.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Training will be provided at store level.
• If invited for an interview, must have manager approval based on performance.
• Internal Candidates: Store/Facility Teammates: minimum of six months employment with Schnucks preferred; Store Support Center Teammates: minimum of one year employment with Schnucks preferred.

• Place filled bags in cart
• Carry customers purchase to cars
• Retrieve carts from parking lot
• Pick up paper and debris in the store, from parking lot, and from carts
• Stock bags on check stands
• Empty trash from check stands and service center
• Sweep and mop floors
• Return merchandise left at check-out to shelves
• Read and understand shelf tags
• Verify prices of merchandise
• Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of the store management

TRAINING

Training will be provided at store level.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Bending
• Stooping
• Must be able to push 3 to 5 carts at a time
• Able to work outside in seasonal weather
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Working on feet for entire shift (4-8 hours)
